Introducing the Teatro

The Comeback Player, by description, is a trumpet player (or, other instrumentalist) who, for whatever reason... job, kids, horn stolen/lost/destroyed by kids/buried in closet, playing annoys wife/husband, etc.... hasn't played in a "while".

The inspiration for a "comeback" can occur as a result of your kids taking an instrument, attending a concert, watching a parade, listening to a CD, or any number of reasons.

The fact is that you have finally come to realize that music played an important role in your life! Your current situation in life is much different than it was the last time that you played. You are gainfully employed, you can actually "focus" your thoughts, you finally have time for yourself, and you may have an opportunity to play in a number of different musical groups, such as communitybands/orchestras, church groups, big bands, jazz combos, wedding bands, etc.

The door is now open, and you look at the Instrument in your hands, and wonder... "Do I you really want to be seen, let alone heard, in public with this?" What's available? What's new? What's good? How much does it cost? Will it really make me a better player?

Northern Brass can answer your questions. Our musical "life experiences" allow us to offer solutions to help guide the "Comeback Player", the novice, or the professional trumpet player, towards success. We specialize in custom trumpets and mouthpieces. Please contact us for assistance.

The Teatro trumpet was created by Bruce Lee ( Northern Brass ), and Leigh McKinney, of Eclipse trumpets. Bruce is a greduate of the Eastman School of Music. He is also a performer, educator/clinician, and a business owner. The combined abilities of theses two men has resulted in a trumpet that they are very proud to offer to the trumpet playing world.
